Psittacula alexandri - Red-breasted Parakeet


This species is uncommon. It inhabits dry and deciduous secondary forests of India (mainly northeast and Andaman Islands), Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Myanmar Thailand, and Cambodia. It mostly forages on seeds, fruits, flowers, and nectar (BirdLife International 2017).
